Features and Advantages of the Hydro-Probe Orbiter

• The sensor’s electronics are separated from sensor head. So when worn or damaged, the sensing arm and head may be changed with minimal disruption to production – if at all.
• Easy to install, no cutting holes in mixer floors. There is also no subsequent maintenance, unlike floor mounted sensors, which need adjustment as the floor plates wear.
• With a better signal and a smooth flow of material across the face of the Orbiter’s sensing head, a faster and more meaningful reading is generated.
• Having a rotating sensor. This a better option than a floor mounted sensor because floor sensor can become turbulent from the blades and air pockets in the mixer. This turbulence requires severe filtering to smooth out the 'spiky' reading; consequently delaying a proper and accurate response.
