Customized Curing Chambers and Tents
Kraft Energy TM offers the complete curing system package - including curing enclosures - chambers,
racks and tents engineered to customer specifications and applicable thermodynamics and HV AC principles.
Insulated Curing Chambers
With years of experience building concrete curing chambers, Kraft Energy TM has a solution made to suit
the needs of the precast concrete industry.
The work required may be limited to insulating existing curing racks or as involved as steel frame erection and cladding
with structural insulation panels and installation of curtain or insulated doors.
Kraft Energy TM supplied insulation units do not absorb moisture and are of the sandwich panel variety
with 25 µm thick polyester coated galvanized steel inner and outer skins. All joints are interlocking tongue
and groove with a foam vapor barrier. All exposed edges and corners are professionally finished with galvanized sheet
metal moulding.
The addition of an insulated ceiling, internal and external walls and insulated automatic roller-shutter doors provides
a quality enclosure for the vapor curing of concrete products.
Kraft EnergyTM Curing Rack Systems
Kraft Energy TM supplies and provides installation of complete curing chamber racks for block, paver and
flag/slab plants using the transverse and finger car system. The prefabricated galvanized rack systems may be designed
in any number of configurations as the customer requires and space dictates.
Folding Tents Require Minimal Storage Space
In situations where tents should fold out from a building wall, there are three versions of the folding tent that
should meet most production requirements. Folding tents are especially beneficial when fresh reinforced concrete
pipe is placed for hardening. By covering the pipe soon after it is demoulded, the effects of drafts (that produce
cracking or bending of pipe) are eliminated.
Steel frames are either hot dip galvanized after fabrication, stainless steel or aluminum and tent material is nylon
reinforced vinyl.
