Hydronix Hydro-View
Located normally in a control panel, the Hydro-View unit displays both the instantaneous and batch average moisture contents
from any one of the Hydronix moisture sensors. The unit may be used as a stand alone system for display purposes or for upward
interfacing with a batch controller to provide dynamic batch weight correction.
A simple keypad arrangement enables all internal operations to be configured for the application. Available in both panel and
wall mounting configurations.
Other facilities include:
- Precise digital technique for calibrating the sensor
- Graphic display of the sensor signal and other parameters
- Linear 4-20mA/O-10 Vdc output with programmable ranges
- Two 'set point' relay outputs
Hydronix Hydro-Control V
Simple to use, accurate water control unit for use with the Hydro-Mix V for manual or automated batch plants.
The Hydro-Control V with its powerful processing capabilities uses the latest digital technology of the Hydro-Mix V microwave
sensor to precisely control the addition of water in the mixer - irrespective of the moisture content of the aggregates.
Designed for simplicity of use and installation, the easy to read display clearly indicates the mix cycle status with a
continuous graphic trace of the moisture content.
The Hydro-Control V now incorporates 3 operating modes making it the most versatile system on the market with different modes
of control to suit all applications.
The most suitable mode may be selected for a particular application or recipe ensuring optimum performance:
Automode
Progressive water addition is controlled by a unique algorithm, developed by Hydronix to give optimum performance. No
calibration is required and the system can be used with or without a water meter.
Calculation (Calc) Mode
The quantity of water to be added is calculated from the difference between the 'dry mix' moisture reading by the sensor
and the final required moisture target for the relevant recipe. In this mode, the water may be added in one shot.
Preset Mode
Predetermined quantities of water may be added as required. Useful when setting up and commissioning equipment as well as
a safety net in the unlikely event of a sensor failure - for whatever reason.
